DUI on Superbowl XLV Sunday
The San Diego Sheriff announced that a special DUI task-force comprised of officers from fourteen local police agencies will be patrolling our streets on this Superbowl Sunday.
The squad, called “Avoid the 14 DUI Task Force,” has one goal: arrest DUI drivers. The Sheriff has warned that this special squad will be on guard in over twenty San Diego communities on Superbowl Sunday. The DUI squad will work as a roving patrol in addition to regularly-scheduled patrol officers.
Sheriff Bill Gore said, “We’re reminding everyone that real Super Bowl fans don’t let fans drive drunk.” So, whether you are a Pittsburgh Steelers fan or a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, spend your Superbowl XLV on the safe-side. The best way to protect yourself is to get informed before you celebrate.
